HONESTLY I never thought of HIV as an STI STIs are sexually transmitted infections that can be passed from one person to another through sex. Syphilis, chlamydia, gonorrhea, and even HIV are all STIs. If you’re having sex, get tested to know your status, use condoms and lube, talk to your partner(s) about sexual health, and if you are HIV-negative, ask a healthcare provider about PrEP.
